Trust me on this one, my Fiat was a diamond in the coarse, it looked very good ; I know that I got distribute of long-looks and inquiries from man, lady and child. It ran very well even tho the transmission lacked first gear thanks to a bent shifting fork. However on my first examination thru on my back looking up from underneath the dash and what I saw on the steering column was quite a sight to say the least. Everything worked, it just was not done correctly because someone had made modifications and add-on’s, do’s and re-do’s. A fire waiting to happen and they can and will if your wiring has been improperly altered and or in disrepair. Repair your firebird convertible top at an affordable price.
My Fiat had an improvised ignition from some traditional Ford van and many kill switches added on as to confuse a would be auto thief. I don’t know who I felt more sorry for the man who was trying to retain his property with this make-shift theft obstruction “device” or a would be, very confused vehicle thief.
